Golf with Allistair and Edward on the Studley golf course.
Below are some pics of the golf course I played on a beautiful Monday, Studley Golf Club, in Oxford, England.
The pro shop said they didn't have anyone for me to play with so I could play by myself.
Well, that kinda sucked. So, I went to the 1st tee and waited for 2 foursomes to tee off.
The last foursome was a bunch of Asian guys that felt sorry for me and said they would let me
play as a 5th if they could. Oh well, that was nice of them.
I looked behind me and sitting on the grass were 2 young lads
with golf clubs. I thought, well I could play alone and be bored, or ask these 2 lads to join me
and see what happens. They said yes. Both of them are 11 years old, Allistair and Edward.
Allistair asks me
what my handicap is. Hmmm... I say, "somewhere around 18". He says, "now tell me what it
really is"! LOL No kidding! I said, "really, around 18. How about you?". He says he
plays to a 7 handicap. [Oh my god.] Eleven years old and claims he can play 3 times better than me!
He was right. This kid can play some golf. I only beat him on 2 or 3 holes. He is actually
a member of the club. Allistair and Edward were two of the finest lads I met in England, and it was my sincere
pleasure to have played a round with them.

My golf partners, Allistair and Edward.

Edward watching the long drive of Allistair. What a pose!

And Edward's pose. Not bad, eh?

The fountain at the clubhouse.

A view from the 9th green.

Another view of the golf course.
Notice there aren't any houses in site? The course was just 5 minutes outside of town and
felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Just look at the spectacular view!
